Home boxes display of images

Hello!

Excuse me if my question seems ignorant. I am using pages (example: about us; services; etc.) as home boxes.

Problem: I don’t want the first image on the page to show in the excerpt box. It messes with the whole look. So I want a way to hide image from the Home boxes, or, in other possibility: pages to show Featured Image on top of the page. Either will work for me.
In short terms, what I want is:
1. Neat Home boxes with image of good size (not shrunken or screwed in any way),
2. A nice big image on top of every page.

I don’t have the page online yet, it’s done locally.

I hope I’ve been clear enough.

I see now that this topic is in all other themes… have I posted it here by accident or have you moved it? Anyways, the theme in question is Massage Center (Spa). Just in case.

Yes Massage Center, We Bake, BeFit, Yogi Pro, Clean Pro, Spirited Pro, CutsNStyle Pro and Kraft Pro among others like SKT Construction Pro, IT Consultant etc are up for update and we should be done by tomorrow updating all these themes.

Oh, I have a new question, also regarding home boxes so not sure if I should post it here or in a new theme?
Anyway, I wish to have only 3 home boxes. Is it possible? My knowledge of PHP is not good enough to take one down on my own. I tried and embarrasingly failed.

HI K,

Given you re-access to the theme to the updated theme.

Kindly download the theme again and activate some other theme, delete the old theme and upload and activate this new one.

You are now able to select only 3 pages and hence show only 3 boxes if you want to.

I have the exact same problem with the About US section looking like a complete mess on the homepage in the yogi theme. Ideally I can set the excerpt length to avoid image coming in.
