Gravida PRO – home without slider

I don’t want full width scroller on start page, and now I have tried with a picture with white boarders, but it looks not like the other pages when you resize the page or see it on a mobile device… is it not possible to create a normal static page as Home/Start?

Kindly go to Setting>>Readings and assign static page for the front page display.

#home_slider{display:none;}
