    I am unable to upload any images. When I try to do so, the images acts like it is uploading but then I receive an error that says “HTTP error.” Please advise?

    It seems like a permission issue. Your media folder i.e. uploads folder within wp-content should have 755 permission and the subsequent folders of years and months too should have 755 permission.
