When I set a featured image and have the same image in my post so that it will show up on the post page, I get both images (so a duplicate) when I click on archives. Is there any way to disable one of them from showing so that I can a single photo?July 14, 2016 at 5:54 pm #40460
SOrry – I forgot the link http://turnnorthphotography.com/2016/07/July 15, 2016 at 9:11 am #40527
You can remove the featured image so that only single image will show up there.

If I were to do that, no photo would show up on the home page (my main post page). I just get a place holder with a film strip on it. No photos with posts is really bad form for a photographer 😉July 15, 2016 at 10:25 am #40539
Kindly use this plugin to hide featured image from the post: https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-featured-image/

Unfortunately, that didn’t work either. But with a little more research, I found something that did. Posting in case it helps someone else.
Add to custom css
