When I set a featured image and have the same image in my post so that it will show up on the post page, I get both images (so a duplicate) when I click on archives. Is there any way to disable one of them from showing so that I can a single photo?

Hi Dawn,
You can remove the featured image so that only single image will show up there.
Regards,
Dave
If I were to do that, no photo would show up on the home page (my main post page). I just get a place holder with a film strip on it. No photos with posts is really bad form for a photographer 😉
Hi Dawn,
Kindly use this plugin to hide featured image from the post: https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-featured-image/
Regards,
Dave
Unfortunately, that didn’t work either. But with a little more research, I found something that did. Posting in case it helps someone else.
Add to custom css
.post-thumb {
display: none;
}
Okay great 🙂
