GIrlie Pro Remove uppercase from headers & sort out sections type (showing code)

Hi,

This is my work in progress site – http://nuaartsandcrafts.ie/
I’m trying to fix a mess someone else made – and it’s all urgent now!

I have two issues that I just can’t resolve. I was working fine with Girlie Lite – but the upgrade to Pro has messed everything up!

I need to remove the uppercase from some of the headers in Girlie Pro. The h1 heading (which is the main heading on the top level pages, and also the headings on the sections (4 under the scroll bar) on the homepage.

The second thing that I just can’t figure out is the section on the homepage. I had this working fine on the Lite version of Girlie – but now on Pro I can’t change that text at all. It’s showing all the code form the page it’s linked to.

I really really appreciate any help anyone can give me!

Hi Nicola,

Kindly go to Settings>>Reading>>Select your latest posts

Then go to Appearance>>Theme Option and click on Save options button. After doing this sections will show up on your homepage.

For the Uppercase title

Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

Add this code there:

.services-wrap h3{text-transform:capitalize !important;}
h1.entry-title, h1.page-title{text-transform:capitalize !important;}

Thank you so much! The help with the capitalisaation worked perfectly!

The other problem I had hasn’t been resolved though. But I think I might have been explaining it incorrectly. So – it’s the part of hte homepage just below the large slider – it has 4 sections – birth paintings, commissions, models and about me. It’s this section that is dragging in all the code from the page it links from and I would just like to be able to edit it to have a summary. I’m not sure how though!

Ahhh…maybe you’re working on this at the moment – but those 4 boxes linked to the different sections have disappeared – and I can’t see any reason why they would have done so!

Hi, I can now see the 4 x boxes again, and the text is configured correctly. Thanks for that!
However – that information is duplicated on the page underneath the boxes too – I’d rather it not be. Is that possible to fix?
Also – my testimonials are not showing up here – though I’ve put them in on the homepage. I’m really confused about how this works – can you please help me understand?
