Girlie Pro – Length of excerpts in latest posts

Dear support team,

I am using the Girlie Pro theme and, unfortunately, I am very frustrated with the length of the excerpts. I haven’t found any solution to define a suitable length – both for the latest posts section and the extracts on the category pages.

In case my setting was 50 words, I have boxes with 4 lines, with 6 lines, sentences that do not end correctly – there is no harmonious appearance at all. It is always a kind of a puzzle and very time-consuming process.

Is there any way, or maybe any plugin for the theme, to define a special teaser text with the optimal length?

My URL is www.gedankenvilla.de. A couple of weeks ago I also have already written an email, but unfortunately haven’t received any feedback yet. I would be really happy, if you could help me.

Hi Brad,

Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t work, there are either conflicts with the theme or with the WordPress version. I have also testes the “Easy Custom Auto Excerpt” plugin – without any success.

Do you have any other idea?
