    Hi, I’m still testing out my site and I’ve made a couple of test posts and pages and I don’t know if I’ve done something or not, but I feel like there should be a white background behind my posts/ the content on the pages, as the front page does with its content. At the moment the post just appears over the page background colour and it just doesn’t look right after working on the front page so much.

    Is there a way to add a background box to each post / page content section?

    Also, I’d like a very clear footer with just my social media links in it. I’ve managed to get them more or less central, but I have a weird little location icon sat off to the right hand side where the contact details where. Is it possible to remove it completely?

    Thanks in advance for you help!

    Okay it’s not ideal, but I managed to do something like what I want on the ‘About’ page of my site – http://www.evdarcy.com/about/ – by using the TABS short code.

    However the top of the box looks weird as that is where the tab is supposed to go – even if I leave it blank. This is not ideal, but it does show you what I want to achieve on the pages and posts.

    In regards to the posts, I’d like individual posts to be in boxes on the blog page as well as on the actual posts themselves. Kind of like at the bottom of the front page – but longer.

    I hope that that makes sense??

    Regards,

    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    Instead of using tab shortcode, Kindly go to Appereance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

    Add this code:

    .entry-content {
    background: #ffffff;
    border: 1px solid #cccccc;
    }

    Regards,
    Brad
