I tried to add the [photogallery filter=”true”] shortcode and now the gallery looks horrible. It’s showing the pics two across instead of three, and the thumbnails are on a larger black background instead of showing up at the smaller size.
I also tried to go back to the original code and it doesn’t help.

Thanks
August 4, 2016 at 11:32 am #42756Kindly use nextgen gallery plugin or master slider plugin and make use of it. Should work for you.

ShriAugust 4, 2016 at 5:08 pm #42799It’s disappointing that after giving a price quote to my client that I need to find and configure a 3rd party gallery to make the site work. What’s wrong with your gallery?
August 4, 2016 at 5:41 pm #42801Hi again, using a third party gallery displays the pics too far to the left. I tried adding a “center” tag, but it doesn’t work. Where can I change your coding to force the gallery to display centered? Thanks
August 5, 2016 at 11:46 am #42854Which gallery plugin are you using? Can you use Master Slider plugin? Should be good for your needs.

ShriAugust 5, 2016 at 1:11 pm #42883Okay solution for current plugin:
Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Options>>Basic Settings>>Custom CSS Box:
Add this code there:
#section4 .ngg-galleryoverview { width:auto !important; margin:10px auto 0 !important; display:table !important;}

ShriAugust 5, 2016 at 3:56 pm #42901Thanks, that worked.
Master Slider doesn’t have a Thumbnail grid based layout. That’s what client wants.
The best ones are $30-$40 per site… way too much.
August 6, 2016 at 10:27 am #42935Okay cool.
No worries will search for more better plugins which should work with all our themes.
Also we are planning to launch an all in one theme within 2 months time which should work for all types of websites.
