Where do I go to change the front page navigation background color from the demo white to another color?

With the It Consultant, the header background renders over parts of the slider images. It literally cuts off 25%+ of the image. What are the best practices for image sizes for the slider and how can I get the header background not to cut it off and I’d like the header background to be smaller in height

Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:

.has_trans_header .header_wrap { position:relative !important;}
