Good morning.
I upload an image of 1400 x 392 (the same dim as banner in header)
When selected as featured image in a page it’s shown cropped and enlarged to fit the banner. It looks like a thumbnail magnified.
If I select a different theme (i.e. Twenty Fourteen) the featured images is correctly displayed with its dimension unchanged.
I appreciate any help that you can provide to resolve the problem.July 27, 2016 at 7:46 am #41880Sure kindly show us the page where the image isn’t appearing properly in the header and we will help you fix that.

the site is hosted on a very poor free shared server then browsing would be very slow.
I apologise for that.July 28, 2016 at 7:50 am #42021Hi Marc,
On the homepage the image size is 1400×648 and on inner pages 240×145.
Make sure header images are 1400px wide.

I tried to select either 1400×382 and 1400×648 as featured image with no success,
the images are badly resized as you can see here (1400×382) http://provami.16mb.com/?page_id=224
and here (1400×648) http://provami.16mb.com/?page_id=214
I hope these example can help to explain the problemJuly 28, 2016 at 8:56 am #42037Hi Marc,

MarcJuly 28, 2016 at 10:16 am #42056Go to Appearance>>Editor>>header.php and find homepage-thumb in header.php file.
Replace the ‘homepage-thumb’ with ‘full’.

In case of update of the theme is this change permanent or it needs to be repeated?July 28, 2016 at 10:55 am #42078Don’t worry we are going to update the theme. In future updates you don’t need to change anything.
