    1) How can I reduce the spacing between the sections on the home page?

    2) How can I remove the little black line in the slider title?

    Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:

    .home3_section_area { padding:30px 0;}
.nivo-caption .title:after { display:none;}
.logo img { margin-bottom:0;}
span.desc { display:none;}
.nivo-caption { padding-top:0 !important;}
