extending slider to top of page

Hello,
Is there a piece of code that will extend the homepage slider images to the top of the screen? I still want the header as is, but don’t want the small piece of background above it. Kindly go to Appereance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

Add this code:

.top-phone, .email-top, .topbararea{display:none;}
