Different Pictures on devices

Hiya,

Wonder if you can tell me if its possible to display different slide show / featured image pictures when switching between landscape / portrait when mobile.

The slide show looks great on desktop with landscape but not with portrait pics. however on mobile the site looks great with portrait pictures until you change the orientation of the screen.

I appreciate any advice.

Need to know if i can display landscape only pictures on the slide show and featured image when viewing on desktop.  and portrait only pictures when viewing on mobile.

Hi Mike,

That would be difficult to do what you are asking. Instead we have have it fit always for any device.

Go to appearance>editor>functions.php and then search fit_always change from 0 to 1

Search fit_portrait change from 1 to 0.

And save.

Now the images would fit any kind of screen.

Actually the above instructions won’t apply because its already always_fit 1 on your theme and its what is default

Yeah ive changed that already.

Yes i was thinking it would hard to do. i even thought of making a second site
m.premiere-photography.com with portrait only images in the slider and featured images and adding a redirect script when coming from a mobile device. but 2 sites? would that work? can you pull text content if install in the same database?
