Combine External CSS, JavaScript & Caching

Hi,

I am still working on performance issues and have installed a cache plugin as you suggested. Having run some tests I have advice regarding combining external CSS files & Javascript files and cacheable resources having a short freshness lifetime and that I should specify an expiration at least one week in the future for these resources. Technically I do not know how to do this but all files seem to relate to the theme – I ran the tests on pingdom for www.scarce-it.com. Are you able to help make these changes please?

Kindly try using WP Fastest Cache. Should work fine for most parts.

Thanks – unfortunately the servers are windows IIS so it doesn’t work but I think I have fixed it now. Could I ask one more thing please? I have been running performance stats and have a flag as follows:

The following requests are returning 404/410 responses. Either fix the broken links, or remove the references to the non-existent resources.

Can you help fix or advise what I need to do? I am assuming this is theme related hence my asking but apologies if it is not.
