Change the colour of the background of the main menu

I am using Meditation Pro for my wordpress. Before the slider I can add a part of one colour at the menu part. Somehow I could do it but I want it in black.

Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:

.header { background:#3e3e3e !important;}
