    On the home page slider I have 5 images that were running smoothly. But now there is a pause between each image, as if there was a blank space or a broken image. It even adds a pager dot per image, so now I have 10 instead of 5. I’ll appreciate your help to solve this.

    Check for any conflicting plugin.

    Disable all plugins and then check them by activating one by one which plugin caused the issue.
