Blog page starts with content of Index page

Hi,

My blog page actually starts with my Home page and only after it repeats all that info, it goes into listing the blog posts. Also, I am not given the option to select a template as it was shown in your set-up tutorial. The only changes I can make to this page is to its PARENT and ORDER.

Kindly go to settings>readings> and de select blog page from there and save and then go to pages>edit the blog page and select from right hand side under page attributes blog page template and save.

Hi Shri,

In SETTINGS > READING, I was able to make no selection for POST PAGE (instead of selecting BLOG). I believe this was your suggestion too, but my options seemed a bit different than what yo described. It worked, so thank you!!
