    (1) I wish to know how to make a background image semi-transparent using css once I have added the back ground in.

    (2) I also would like the background image to fill the whole screen, not tiled.

    Hi John,

    I don’t think we can apply opacity to the background because there is nothing behind background to judge its opacity.

    Lastly i see the background 1 color full wide and not tiled so i think you got it.

    Okay thanks I will use Photoshop to change the image opacity prior to uploading.
