Well, this is weird…
I had upgraded to the latest wordpress. There was hiccup with the upgrade, but my hosting company helped recover the site. It no longer has plugins. I figured the host removed them. BUT — I can’t install anything anymore. It’s unable to create files, directories, etc..
This issue is related to WordPress in general and hosting company issue. Nothing to do with the theme is general.
Theme is part of the whole WordPress ecosystem which is where you have a problem.
