    Hello,

    I am using the Agency Startup theme on this website – https://alphaomegarealestategroup.com/. My client has requested the ADA compliance of her website to be improved. I installed a plugin that is identifying the errors and alerts for compliance and have been able to make many of the improvements to the theme on my own. However, there are several items I cannot figure out how to resolve.

    1. The main one is that all of the menu items must contain landmarks (e.g., <li id=”menu-item-204″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-204″>Agents OR Community Info<span class=”menu_arrow”><i class=”fa-angle-down”></i></span>).

    I found the following instructions on how to add the appropriate landmarks; however, if this is the correct way to resolve this issue within this theme, I can’t figure out where these ul and li aspects of the menu are being indicated in this theme in order to add the landmarks.

    <!– Code after ARIA implementation –>

    <div id=’navigation-menu’ role=’navigation’ aria-label=’Main Navigation’>
    <ul role=’menu’>
    <li role=’menuitem’>Home
    <li role=’menuitem’>About
    <li role=’menuitem’>Services
    <li role=’menuitem’>Location
    <li role=’menuitem’>Contact Us

    </div>
    <div id=’user-menu’ role=’navigation’ aria-label=’User Menu’>
    <ul role=’menu’>
    <li role=’menuitem’>Login
    <li role=’menuitem’>Account
    <li role=’menuitem’>Settings

    </div>

    2. The other main error is with the three icons in the Our Services section of the homepage. The error says that the links must have discernible text for each element (e.g.,
    <div class=”blockthumb”></div>). I’ve tried adding alt text to the icons under Media (they all three have alt text right now), but the links keep coming back indicating that alt=””.

    Your help with resolving these two issues would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Courtney
