Hi, is there any way of adding an extra footer area without using php? I want to use all 4 footer widgets, but would like another one (a single full width column) either above or below these.
Hmm if only for homepage you can add a section about footer however to add it for the whole site unfortunately would need php in footer.php
Regards,
Shri
Ok – thanks, I thought that would probably be the case. I guess the only thing I can do is put it at the bottom of every page!
Also – wondering if you could recommend any shortcode for adding a site map?
Yes this should be useful: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-sitemap-page/
XML sitemap you have to generate and place in Google webmaster tools.
Right – I will give that a go, thanks for the advice
