Action hooks

Hi,

I wish to use a plugin to add an enquiry button to the product page however it does not work with the SKT Black theme (works fine on other themes). The developer suggests the theme is not adding the action hooks (see quote below), how do I resolve this please?

“Enquiry button is added using this action hook
woocommerce_single_product_summary => on the single product page
and woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item => hook on the archive/category pages
if your theme is not adding this hooks in the product page template then enquiry button will not be shown”

kindly use another plugin to show a inquiry button on product pages like.

installed and activated, that one doesn’t work neither. I’ve checked the plugin settings, it seems pretty basic so I don’t think I’ve got a setting wrong.

I may have stumbled on the reason for this. The enquiry button shows on the category page but not the single product page. I suspect the reason is that it is set to show the button after the summary and the summary is not visible. in the theme layout but it is on other themes. Could this be the case? And if so, is there a way to show the summary on a product with SKT Black theme active?

Hi,

We checked, You used Elementor page builder on single product page therefore the inquiry plugin is not working, please use default Single Product page template which comes with WooCommerce.

Thanks Chris, I understand what you’re saying just not how to rectify it. I’m going through all the single product settings I can find and they all say default template. Can you point me to where I change from Elementor to the default template please?

Hi,

If you want to show default woocommerce single product template.

Kindly go to template >> Click on saved templates >> Product with variations >> and click on Bin >> Then your woocommerce default single product page will be activated.
