Did you go under Appearance – Theme Options – Scroll to the bottom of the Basic Settings a click Save? That did work for me. The sections tab didn’t work though. So I hid the sections with the check box, and then copy and pasted the code from the section(s) I wanted directly into an index page. That manually created the sections. Try that and see if it works for you too.
