I’ve managed to change the field border colour to a darker grey using the theme options basic field ‘Select border color for site input field’ but the corresponding ‘Select font color for site input field’ does not propagate, please advise

Kindly go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Basic Settings >> Custom CSS Box:

Add this code there:

.wpcf7-form p { color:#282828;}
.wpcf7 form input[type="text"], .wpcf7 form input[type="email"], .wpcf7 form input[type="tel"], .wpcf7 form textarea { margin-top:10px;}
.single .innerbanner { height:auto;}
