Static page info shows on blog post page

    Hello

    I have this website set with a static homepage, which is how I want it. However, I want to also include a “blog” tab on the website menu. But when I set a page to be a blog, it pops up the home content as well. I want it to just contain blogs, not the home slider. How do I delete the home slider from the web page.

    Home page:
    http://harrisoncountyymca.org/

    Blog page:
    http://harrisoncountyymca.org/index.php/blog/

    I want the blog page to just have the blogs (and the sidebar) so it looks more like a regular page:
    http://harrisoncountyymca.org/index.php/y-sports/

    please advise.
