Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:

.nivoSlider { height:600px; min-height:550px;}
.home.has_trans_header .nivo-caption { top:43%;}
.nivo-caption .slidedesc {
    font-size: 30px !important;
}
