SKT White Pro Very Slow

Hello,

I have SKT White Pro and it is extremely slow to load, especially on mobile. There are times when the server will even time out before loading the page (mobile only). Is there a quick resolution to this issue?

Hi Kyle,

Kindly go to compressjpeg.com or tinypng.com to reduce the size of the image and use cache plugin like W3Total Cache or WP Fastest Cache so that it opens faster.

What image am I supposed to reduce the size of? The header image is only 72dpi, so it’s already very web safe. I installed W3 Total Cache, and it hasn’t helped at all. The website is still very slow to load, and doesn’t always load on mobile.

When I used the free SKT White theme it seemed way more responsive. That’s why I upgraded to Pro.

Before doing the below steps take a database backup kindly:

Kindly go to sktthemes.net/my-account/

View the order and download the new theme. Activate some other theme, delete the old one and upload and activate new theme.

Should be fine in terms of speed.
