I’m sorry if this seems like a silly question, but I can’t work out where to put the Google Analytics tracking code on your theme so that google will crawl the site. I’ve tried several options but I keep coming up with an error from Google. Can you please help.
Hi,
Kindly add this plugin to install Google analytics tracking: https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/

Thanks, I had already done this. I’ve reauntheticated it but Google Tags still tells me that the code is not showing on the head. Is there another way I can add it into your theme templates?
Hi,
Kindly check settings>readings>uncheck the checkbox Discourage search engines from indexing this site.
If that checkbox is already unchecked then your site should get crawled.
Use Google webmaster tools and submit sitemap.
Regards,
Shri
