Recently there’s a problem with images on the static front page and the image slider. All off a sudden the image link is broken, although the image is in the media library. Then the slider stretches an image in length and shortly afterwards is showing the icon for a missing image link in the browser. I’ve repaired each linked image by renaming and re-linking it, but soon afterwards other images are not being displayed correctly. I’ve also deleted the images and loaded them up to the server again. Sorry! I’ve found the culprit. It’s the Safari browser cache.
