I tried to remove my old logo from blog post page sidebar and a sidebar of “wedding events” and “reservation form” came up which I don’t want. It only seems to be in short codes which I can’t amend or delete. To hide that I have had to put a widget in main sidebar of “pages”. I now have sidebars I don’t want on many of my pages. How can I get rid of all of my sidebars? Greatly distressed! Thanks Ruby
Hi Ruby,
To remove sidebar there are 2 process.
1. You go to pages>edit any page and on right hand side under page attributes select template: Full Width and save.
2. Second way is to go to Appearance>Widgets and drag and drop a new widget in main sidebar to replace what is shown in default on the sidebar.
Regards,
Dave
Hi, that works for the other pages but my blog page doesn’t have any page attributes when I go to edit. What can I do there. Have put list of blog posts in widgets for main page in the meantime. That page also doesn’t have the page heading that all the others have. Thanks Ruby
Hi Ruby,
Here is the documentation: http://sktthemesdemo.net/documentation/skt-wedding-doc/#blog-sidebar
