    How do I remove the box inside the homepage slider, or adjust the opacity? I removed the caption and description, and now the black transparent box is there with nothing in it.

    Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Options>>Basic Settings>>Custom CSS Box:

    Add this code there:

    .nivo-caption { background-color:transparent !important;}
