Is there a “sandbox” area where I can work on customizing my theme without activating it? I already have a live website, and am using this new theme to update the look, but I don’t want it to be live and have the public seeing what I’m doing while I’m doing it. Thanks!
Hi David,
Kindly use coming soon or maintenance mode plugin so that you can customize your theme while users will see a maintenance mode.
In case you want to show the live site while you customize this theme.
You can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-test-drive/
However whether its working or not with the current WordPress version we haven’t tested it.
