Restro Theme Posting Video to Blog Post no image shows on home page

When I post a video to a blog post, my home page shows a graphic that says NO PHOTO AVAILABLE where the thumbnail photo would normally be. I tried adding a photo, but then the video didn’t show on the blog post. Is there a way to get the video to show up on the thumbnail on the home page under blog posts?

Hi Susan,

You can’t add video as a thumbnail on homepage. You can show image instead. Kindly go to that post and set the featured image of the post.

When I do that, on my blog page, it puts the photo above my words and then the video under my words. That’s confusing for the reader. I would rather the video be on top – but only if there is a video involved. Is there a way to do that?

I want the video to be the first thing they see on the blog posts with a video.
