Replacing the text is easy – all the tools are there – but there is no ‘Add media’ button to replace the image packaged with the theme. How do I change the welcome-img.jpg with the image of my choice?
I imagine it will be the same process for the packaged images in all the sections on the homepage.
Hi Robin,
You have to paste image URL in section 1.
Kindly upload the image in media library and copy it URL from right side panel. Then go to Appearance>>Theme Option>>Section>>Section 1
You will find <img src="URL"/>
code. paste the image URL in the src=""

Dave
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the prompt reply. I did that, and the line of text now reads:
I refreshed the homepage, and what I have now is a faint small blue square with a symbol in it sitting next to my paragraph. I’m sorry I know nothing about coding, but how do I need to alter that line of text so that it shows the actual image?
My image is the same size as the packaged one (I resized it in Corel PHOTOPAINT to match the dimensions I found in the properties of the packaged image).
Many thanks for your help. Once I’ve cracked this, I think I am probably there.
Cheers
Robin
OK Dave, I’ve solved it. I had to delete the “alt=””/> at the end. CHEERS!
Okay Great 🙂
Regards,
Dave
