    Hello, how can I keep the hover effect on each of the four boxes but remove the hyperlink and “read more” function? This way they serve as an interactive object but do not navigate anywhere.

    Hi Robert,

    Kindly go to index.php and remove the anchor tag

    For read more buttons
    Kindly go to Appereance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

    Add this css code

    .welcome_text .one_fourth .read{display:none !important;}
