problem with cyrillic letters and gallery filters in Construction theme

How to make the gallery filters work if the category is in cyrillic letters? It currently works with latin letters only.

Hi Ann,

Cyrillic letters are not supported in gallery filter, you have to use only Latin letters.

You should write this in the descprition. 300 million people use it and it’s the most similar to latin letters than any other writing system. I write all the descprition in latin letters but I can’t expect my customers to use them. Is there any way around this so I can still have a gallery with filters and write them in Bulgarian?

Kindly use Nimble Portfolio plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/nimble-portfolio/ works similar to our gallery and works with cyrillic characters.
