Hi Support
How do I update an SKT theme to use the WP Mail SMTP plugin as I need to send mail via SMTP authentication ? I installed the plugin and the test works, but how do I make the contact form use it and survive updates. I saw this article here https://www.sktthemes.org/wordpress/test-WordPress-emails-on-localhost/ but it does not tell me how to make the theme use it.
I am using the SKT Movers Packers Pro theme.
Thank you
Hey Tim,
Why would you need mail working in localhost?
Mails do work on server.
You can use contact form 7 plugin or other plugins like ninja forms which work in localhost.

Shri
Hello Shri
The problem is that my web hosts only provides email relay with authentication.
I looked at CF7 but I’m not sure how to replace the default forms from your theme with CF7 forms and make it upgrade safe. Can you advise ?
Thanks
Hi Tim,
Kindly go to Appearance>>Widget>>Sidebar main
Drag and drop text widget in sidebar main and put the CF7 shorttcode there.
Regards,
Dave
Thank you, that allowed me to swap to CF7 🙂
I do think it would be good if your themes could suppot WP-Mail-SMTP in the future though.
Many thanks
Tim
Hi Tim,
Thanks for the suggestion. Would give it a thought and implement some code sometime.
As of now we are pretty much focussed on increasing number of themes to 100.

Shri
