I cannot for the sake of looking find the spot where i can change the title of the homepage. The customize section under appearance doesn’t work, Yoast doesn’t show up on the options pages. I found where to change the favicon…. What about the title.
Title of the homepage is via Settings>General.
Title and tagline are via there.
In Yoast options it provides meta title and meta description of homepage.

Thanks very much for the reply. I had the general settings stuff you mentioned already done and the yoast settings too. I did find this in Yoast though and it made a huge difference. Enable force rewrite titles…
