    I can’t find where I am to edit the newsletter signup, or how to get it to start taking in peoples emails.

    Hi Brandon,

    Sorry for the delayed response somehow missed it. Newsletter Sign up in this theme is a static HTML you can replace it by adding your own widget in appearance>widgets>footer widget 3.
