if you look at my site (www.warditc.com) on a wide screen you’ll see that the header background is black at each end. (I know it’s probably not what you think of as the header background, but hopefully you can see what I mean)
How do I change this so it’s white all the way across? I’ve checked all of the theme options but can’t find the one to set.
Thanks
Steven
Hi Steven,
I have checked your website and found that you have uploaded a large image for logo. For a better responsive experience you have to crop and upload it via theme option.
Anyways here is the css code.
Kindly go to Appereance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box
.header{background:#ffffff !important;}
Regards,
Brad
do you mean where it says ‘Upload your logo here’?
I’ve put the code in above and it’s just wiped the logo out totally (warditc.com)
I did this initially but I couldn’t get the size right.
I will try again
Spent ages on getting the header image right
Sorted it. I cropped the logo as you said.
Originally I didn’t have the section with the slides set to white background so my logo overlapped it. then I read in one of the posts to have the header logo and the sliders the same size 900 x 385 and that when I got the problem.
all sorted though – thanks
