Footer Background color.

I want to change the black footer background color. I have changed it in theme options – footer – footer background color. when i refresh my page i see the color i chose for a brief second and then the black comes back in. what am i missing?

I seem to be asking for things that require more follow-up on my part than I expected. Would like to understand why i need to provide confidential information to get that info?

Maybe people provide and then change admin info?

Please clarify and is it possible to answer these questions without me providing that info?

User details can be changed on a later date. In case you aren’t comfortable sharing info with us then probably you can hire some developer because we don’t possibly know how you tried to change color and why the footer color didn’t change.

I’m probably just paranoid but having a complete stranger in my WordPress account even if I change login later – I have no idea what you did while in there.
I will hire a Profesional. Another case of ” you get what you pay for”
