    For some reason the content on the page is all the way to the edge. The padding has disappeared from the page container, on the home page and the other pages. Is there a way to set the padding?

    Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize >> Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:

    .center { width:1170px; margin:0 auto;}
