Display Blog Posts from selected Categories

Hi,
I’m using the gbhotel template.

On BLOG PAGE SETTINGS section, I set the category Event on the “Display Blog Posts from selected Categories”, but the Blog page display always all post categories.

What am I doing wrong?

We set blog template as given in screenshot and unselect this page from Posts page.
