After designing and uploading site based on Hotel Pro, all changes and site designs disappeared and the default theme appearance was showing instead of my site. Why is that?
Do I need a child theme since I am not doing any hard-coding on the theme?
Unless and until you press reset defaults or change name of the theme via style.css it can’t have changes disappear.

ShriI didnt do any of that. I have deleted entire file from server and is uploading all over again. I will also delete database and re-import.
