I really love the stylization of girlie’s [latestposts]
shortcode. I would really like to incorporate this styling into the category pages of my blog to create a seamless appearance.
How can I edit the shortcode to display only posts from a particular category?
I want the category pages’ posts to be stylized like this:
http://earthyinsight.com/
Not like this:

You can go to style.css and enter styling for category pages and modify it like wise. If you are good in coding you will be able to figure it out 🙂
Regards,
Shri
Unfortunately I am not good at coding and have no idea how to do this. I know how to edit and insert coding but nothing about writing it
Hi Ranelle,
You can show particular category on the homepage in latest post section. Design like homepage latest posts on category pages is customization.
If you want to show particular category on homepage then send us your send us your URL of the site and WordPress admin details via sktthemes.net/contact

For some reason, the shortcode is not functioning on all pages. For example, it is working on this page
http://earthyinsight.com/index.php/all-posts/product-awareness/
but it is not working on this page
http://earthyinsight.com/index.php/all-posts/
it is also not working in category pages (in the sidebar there is a widget titled categories if you click to those pages the customization is not functioning)
