Can't customise text widget

Hi,

I’ve been trying to add a background image or background colour to a sidebar text widget via custom CSS but NOTHING I do seems to have any effect. Interestingly, I can’t even seem to make experimental changes using “inspect code” function on the page. Can you please provide the correct CSS code as I’d like to be able cusotmise my widgets. I’m using SKT Restaurant Pro theme.

Hi Shri,

Please go to http://www.roamindonesia.com/bali/ then see in the widgets side bar there is a top 10 wildlife encounters text widget. I would like to know how the widget can be customised to show a background image or colour and a border.

Kindly go to Appereance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

Add this code there:

#sow-editor-3 {background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0) url(https://cdn.worldnomads.net/Content/styles/i/wn/external-widgets/widget-bg-grey.jpg) repeat scroll 0 0; color: #fff; padding:30px; width:90%;}
#sow-editor-3 li span { color:#fff;}
