Background page color – can not change

I set all background colors to white everywhere I can but when you click on any of the pages the background is grey. Where do I change the background color

Also the featured image I want to show up on the home page ends of being to big when the page displays the picture first

Hi,

Kindly go to Appearance>Theme Options>Basic Settings>Custom CSS box:
body{background:#ffffff !important;}

For the image problem kindly use plugin page links to and link those pages to some other page where you don’t have featured image set so that it doesn’t look odd.
