My url is http://www.thesubmissivespirit.com
I am not using a static homepage
I am using Girlie Pro
I have added alt text to my images and tried various plugins. The alt attrib are attached to my images on all my pages except the homepage. I use some of the same images in the Slides that I use in blog posts. The alt attrib show up in the blog posts but not when the image is used in the slide. None of the featured images that are attached to the recent posts show the alt attrib either. This is what is being generated:
<img src="http://www.thesubmissivespirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/IMG_3490-copy.jpg" alt="" /><img src="http://www.thesubmissivespirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/IMG_3519-copy-2.jpg" alt="" /><img src="http://www.thesubmissivespirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/IMG_3414-1-3.jpg" alt="" /><img src="http://www.thesubmissivespirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/IMG_3540.jpg" alt="" /></div><div id="slidecaption1" class="nivo-html-caption">
It is that way for every image I have used on the homepage (there are 14 of them).
Any ideas how I can get the theme to recognize the alt attributes?
Thanks.
Kim
HI Kim,
For dynamic locations difficult to have alt tags. We can code it such that the name of the file gets posted in alt tag of the homepage.
Will that do?
Regards,
Shri
Yes. Let’s try it. What do you need me to do?
Kim
I have the banner pictures. 4 pictures under the banner and pictures in the sections. If we program it to use the titles, will it include all of the pictures on the Homepage?
