    Thanks Dave,

    Ill do that.

Just a couple of other questions whilst I’m on:

1/ How do I select or refer to the heading elements in CSS. I’ve tried using h1, h2 etc but that doesn’t seem to work. I’m using Elementor to edit/build the pages.
2/ I have an issue with the menu navigation when in tablet mode. When using an iPad and selecting on a menu header (i.e. “What We Do”) instead of showing me the pages under that menu header it just goes to the page “What we do”.

Thanks Brad, Thats working. I can now use the AE Post Template with the theme. Appreciate you resolving this.

I had to add some CSS to remove the unwanted header on the post (same as I need to do on the pager header).

I used .post_head {display:none !important;} which seems to have worked. Was this the correct way to do it?

    Thanks for looking Brad,

I had that setting left on from trying to troubleshoot earlier.

If you look in WordPress Dashboard>AE Templates>you will see my template “Post_Template_Article”. This is the one I created in AE Templates and that I want all my posts to inherit.

If you go to Dashboard>Posts>’Remote Operations’ the settings for this post are:

    AE Postemplate=”Post_Template_Article”

Post Attributes=Template>”Default Template”. ***IF I choose the other option here of “Elementor Canvas” then the post inherits the Post_Template_Article I built with AE Templates but doesnt inherit the menu, header etc. BUT, If I choose “Default Template” it shows the menu and footer but ignores the template that I made in AE Templates.

In other themes such as Generate Press. The header, nav_menu & footer are being inherited using the AE Template but not with SKT themes. Is there something that you can do to fix this?

    Thanks

    Brad,

What can you not understand about the header, nav-menu and footer not displaying on a post page?

I am not using the standard theme or WordPress ‘Single Post page template’. I have created a ‘single post page’ template using ‘Anywhere Elementor’. It is all working fine except for the theme’s nav_menu, header and footer is not getting pulled into the page.

I really dont have a more succinct way of saying this.

The link url takes you to the post page that is using the ‘Anywhere Elementor’ template I created. Hopefully by looking at it you may be able to see what I need to add to the template in order for the page to display the theme’s header, nav_menu and footer.

Its not something that I can paste. There is not a visual issue with the page.

There is an option in SKT theme settings to select a title descriptor so that you can toggle on or off ‘Hide Page Title’. The only descriptor that works in this field is ‘h1’. The problem is that I cannot use h1 anywhere else on the page as it will get stripped out. Some page title desriptors are ‘entry-title’ or ‘h1.entry-title’ but this doesn’t seem to work so I am having to use just ‘h1’. I have had a look at the code and cannot work out what is the proper page title descriptor.

Brad, are you able to provide the title descriptor for this theme as well, only h1 is working to strip out the page title, but I may need to use h1 elsewhere on pages.
