Footer displays “Latest Posts”, is there a way to limit which posts are displayed based on category?

Thank you so much, but there is one last thing where excerpts are not showing up, is on the page with all of the posts.

The footer now is matching what page is displaying, but excerpt is still not working.
On each Post I have enabled Excerpt in Screen Options and I have placed excerpt comments, but they are not been displayed.

Thank you, but there are few other issues with it.
1. The image is not been stretched on full screen
2. The image is not covering copy right area
3. How do I change image to something else

I have added the following code, and the image is still not displayed, but it did remove the gray color off of footer

I was able to change Home Page to display different images as a slider.
But I would like to have different slider on each page. Where would I edit that?

This has changed home page to default skttheme page, but other pages still show gray area.
How would I change slider for each individual page?
